I love you still I wish that one day you will the grief that I feel right now..

My first rain dance of d season :)

So like I alwaz imagine monsoon everything's washed n fresh..n look! So am I!!! :))
Finally its raining like it should in Pune n I soaked myself ( well noy fully as you can see ) for the first time this season :)) n Shikha I am really missing you dear! Though you know nothing about this blog :P
Well back to the rain..it is not pouring but its still raining and its much better than no rains at all and that somehow fits so well with the flow of happiness in our lives..however little it might be you should and you must dance while its there! :)

Yea coz my body can't keep up wid d excitement :))))
There are some days that you get good news and there are days like yesterday when you get all the good news and it comes to you all at once! :)
I am dancing on the inside and smiling endlessly on the outside and I wanna jump and hoot and run like a crazy chic just to celebrate :P
I wanna just laugh and shout on top of my lungs coz I just can't contain the excitement! :)
I am gonna be wid my hubby on the Christmas n New Years...one of my best and craziest friend is getting married and another one of my crazy friend got promoted to a higher role in the org, one more mad gal is gonna be with her hubby on C & NY, and there is just more n more coming in :P
I guess someone high up is really smiling at me their best smile :)

And believe me, I am smiling right back! :))))

Loving books :)

Those days when all you do is take a nice book and curl up in bed
And if you ever do get up the book is always in your hand
Or those days when you walk into a cozy book store or a library
With loads of books
And just a bunch of avid readers engrossed in their favourite subjects
Oh those days are just like a walk in your own private paradise...

The time just seizes to exist its just you and the book and the images that it builds up in your mind..
Those of the infinite possibilities, those where laws of nature do not hold..in fact no law holds except the ones that you or the writer makes..

Just like true love..;))

If I could, I would just live in that world or those different worlds, exploring new dimensions of my own thoughts..
Flying out with my dreams and coming back with new ones
Meeting new thoughts on the way and appreciating their beauty see them unfurl just like rose buds..
Flowing like a river carrying the current of change that the thoughts bring with themselves..
Beeing the bearer of the light that makes the change shine like a brilliant diamond until its time for the next one..
I could just go on and on about how liberated it makes me feel
But I am happy enough to know that I have conveyed the thought and now its time to move to the next one..:))

My tryst with the dentist

Oh yes the most scary of the encounters that most of us dread! :P
Well today was my 2nd time..and it was better than the 1st one
Though nothing about removing your tooth can ever be a happy memory but i have been able to go through it without shrieking into the doctors years :P
Yes! And I would like to thank my family and friends for their wishes and encouragement... :P
Yeah its nothing short of an award winning performance ;)
Btw the real trouble comes when you try to eat anything..even something so boring a gulpable aa khichdi is difficult to take in :-/ oh what the hell! you think and try to eat bcoz you are hungry and then the pain reminds you of the stitches and along with that of your helplessness..
Oh but dear food...remember, its just a matter of time till I attack you again and I will win! :-p
Right now I'm just tired and need to get my much needed sleep :)

Lazy Friday

Well I was gonna call it "Lazy Fridays" but not all Fridays are so blessed my friend ;)
When your boss is also in a holiday mood..and ofcourse people like me who never fail to exploit such situations, consider it a crime to even think of working on such days..even if day dreaming is all we do all day :P
Yeah I am from the breed of the lazy and I am really proud of it on such occasions :D
Facebook is bored of me and vise versa..Twitter says plz write sometime instead of just retweeting other people's tweets..and so says pinterest..:P
But I am happy just dreaming about soaking in the pouring rain and dancing for the heck of it..wishing i don't have to see the computer screen unless my life depends on it :P

And never come back into closed spaces unless its absolutely necessary...I feel like turning into a kid and going out to play every evening and make crazy plans and try to carry them out..
Escape out of the house in the middle of the afternoon through the bedroom window..
Sticking around with frenz till your parents have to carry you home in youe sleep :P
Oh how I miss those innocent years on this lazy Friday :)
Well I still go to sleep anywhere anytime its just dat my parents can't carry me :P but neway dats not the point ;)

The point here is that the weather is really fine and I am missing the spirit of carefree fun and I am so missing my friends :)

Once again I want to chat with them and gossip for hours and still be wanting more...oh but I guess we are still not lost in our lives coz we did spend the new year together and had lots of fun :P not to mention the little incident that took place on our way back :D if they read it they will know..coz guyz its our little secret and I am not telling the rest of you ;)

Well so I am gonna call up my besties now and book them while I can :)

Hap hap happy birthday to my love! :)

Well its your birthday and I am short of great ideas for a gift :P
But like someone had said its only words are all I have :) so here goes..

You are the purest soul that I have known. You still have the innocence and persuasiveness of a child.you see and perceive hope when things look hopeless.you love with surrender and need to be reminded that you are loved each day.
You have engaged me so much in this life that i think i will not be able to leave this moh-maya for any salvation :)
You silently understand everything and express very little.
The way you look at things is completely out of this world :) because you fail to identify with conventions.
You are my best friend ever since i have known you and you have let me lose my inhibitions to great extent :)
Now the roller coasters don't scare me and i am not afraid to go into the water above the level of my nose without fearing that i will somehow drown myself :) with you i am always ready to take a chance and go out on adventure called life. :)
You pamper me, you scold me, you listen to me n give advice. But most of all you love me! :)
I goof up big time a number of times but you are right there to make things right and then tell its no big deal you have to just do like that :D and I am like how simple that was and how complicated i thought it would be..
I boss you around but you still silently go and do your thing :P coz that is what you should be doing :)
I love you for everything that you are and everything that you can be :)

Raindrops n roses :)

The sun is ready to go on holiday
And the rains are just around the corner
Its like the clouds are trying to contain their happiness
But will soon burst out laughing
And I love to dance to the music of their laughter
Coz there is no sound so pure as that
Washing away all my worries for tomorrow and yesterday
I live just for the moment right then
And there is peace all over when I am all washed and done :)

Which brings the dreams that I have long forgotten in the scorching sun
The love that flows in the air
And all the happiness sits snug in a blanket with a hot coffee and a comfy chair
Reading the best stories that the witches have to tell
And wishing of a far far away land..oh well..
The big glass windows splattered with raindrops and rattling from the laughing and the oh so happy wind
Babies snuggling close to their mammas at the sound of thunder
Its a time so happy that I just can't feel blue
Everything is rosy right here in my world
And I am sending this happy feeling across to you :)

Chicken crepes/pancakes for lucnh :)

Being in Paris and having to cook my own lunch to carry to the office is more fun than it may sound..
The amazing well equipped kitchen at my service appt is just something I have always dreamed of having....

And everytime I stop by the grocery store for some fresh ingredients I just can't stop myself from starting right away at making whatever my mind is dreaming of..experimenting a little and applying my own knowledge to it I end up making something that I relish :)

Here is one such quick fix recipe which I made for my lunch box:

Chicken Rolls made with salted Pancakes and boneless chicken

I had chicken leg pieces so I had to debone them after cooking :P

For the chicken filling :

Marinate the chicken for 1/2 an hour with :
1tbsp - yougurt
1tsp   - salt
1/2 tsp - chilli flakes
1/4 tsp - pepper
1 1/2 tsp - chopped garlic

microwave the chicken for 10 mins

chop 2 cloves of garlic and slice 1/2 an onion

heat a pan and add 1 tsp of butter in it. Add a 1 tbsp of oil to the butter to avoid it from burning.
Add the chopped garlic and the onions to the pan. After the onions turn tanslucent add the chicken pieces and a little salt and 1 cup milk to it add a little bit about 1/2 cup of water and let it reduce on a slow flame turning the chicken in between.
After the milk and water has reduced completely take out the chicken in a dish and let it cool.
Adding milk helps the chicken to remain soft and also adds creaminess to it.

Cut the chicken into small pieces.

For the pancakes take:
2 1/2 tbsp - maida
1              - egg
1 tsp         - salt
1/2 cup     - milk
little bit of water to make the batter into the right consistency. Beat the above mixture till smooth and fluffy.

Heat the oil in a pan and spread the batter to make thin pancakes. Cook evenly on both sides.

After the pancakes are ready put the filling in and roll them up like frankies

Cut them into appropriate sizes of your choice to fit the lunch boxes.

And voila! :)

P.S. You can alter the amount of seasoning according to your taste. If you do not have maida you can use atta and basan like I did for the pancakes or crepes whatever you may like to call them :P
